Privacy notice. Plainly written.

Last updated 26 September 2026 · Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia)

01Who we are

NeuronFX (“we”, “us”) is a software engineering and cybersecurity firm based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

02What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us, plus minimal technical data needed to keep the site secure:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and optionally company, phone or WhatsApp number, budget, timeline and the content of your message.
  • Job applications: the details above, plus any portfolio or profile links you share.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser user-agent and referring page, recorded with each form submission to prevent spam and abuse.
  • Analytics (if enabled): privacy-friendly, cookie-less page-view statistics. These do not identify you personally.

03How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss a potential project or role.
  • To prepare proposals, estimates and — if we work together — contracts.
  • To assess job applications.
  • To protect this website against spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

04Cookies & analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are enabled, we use a privacy-focused, cookie-less service that records anonymous page views. Your browser may store small preferences locally — for example, whether sound is switched on — which never leave your device.

05Who we share it with

Your data is handled by the NeuronFX team. We use a small number of service providers to operate this website and our communications — for example hosting, email and messaging tools. They process data only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. Some providers may store data outside Malaysia; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected. We will disclose data where required by law.

06How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the relationship and any legal or accounting obligations afterwards. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

07How we protect it

Security is our trade. The website is served over HTTPS, access to enquiries is restricted to the people who need it, and our systems follow the same hardening practices we apply for our clients. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

08Your rights

Under the PDPA you may:

  • ask for access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
  • withdraw your consent, or ask us to limit how we process your data;
  • ask us to delete your data where we no longer need it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
